El mapa
Lalupon Map Poster & Print
Lalupon lies in Oyo State in southwestern Nigeria, just east of Ibadan, and serves as the headquarters of Lagelu Local Government Area. From above, the town appears as a compact settlement strung along its main roads, with streets and compounds gathered around the centre before opening out into farmland and wooded land.
The town sits on the gently rolling ground typical of this part of Yorubaland, and its roads connect it with the sprawl of Ibadan to the west. On a map, that shows as a pattern of dense streets at the centre, looser growth at the edges, and a network of rural roads and paths running into the countryside.
Small streams cross the surrounding land, adding thin winding lines between the roads. A Lalupon map poster is chosen above all by people with a personal connection to the town, who want a record of a specific place on the edge of one of Nigeria's largest cities rather than a generic view.
