Îlet du Gosier
A small lighthouse islet sits just offshore from the town. On the map it appears as a crisp, separate shape across a narrow channel, which makes it an easy point to recognize.

El mapa
Le Gosier Map Poster & Print
Le Gosier lies on the south coast of Grande-Terre in Guadeloupe, a short distance east of Pointe-à-Pitre. On a map, its coastline is its signature. The shore is a run of small bays and rocky points, and in several places roads follow the water closely. Inland, the streets loosen into a scatter of neighborhoods over low, gently rolling limestone country.
Just off the town lies the Îlet du Gosier, a small island with a lighthouse, separated from the mainland by a narrow stretch of water. On paper it is a neat detached shape that anchors the whole composition. To the west, the Bas-du-Fort area forms part of the commune, with the marina basins and the old Fort Fleur d'Épée overlooking the approaches to the harbor.
A Le Gosier map poster suits anyone who knows this coast from a holiday or from home. The resort strip, the village center and the lanes leading inland to the hills all appear as fine linework against the open white of the sea. Because so much of the frame is water, the result is light and airy, and the outline of the coast carries the design.

Indented south coast
The shoreline breaks into a series of coves and points. Coastal roads trace these curves, giving the poster a soft, irregular edge along the sea.
Bas-du-Fort
At the western end of the commune, marina basins and the historic Fort Fleur d'Épée add geometric harbor shapes and a hilltop landmark near Pointe-à-Pitre.

Per què Le Gosier
Un mapa amb significat
A map of Le Gosier works as a quiet memento of warm water and island light, for a home in Guadeloupe or somewhere far away. The coves and the islet are recognizable at a glance, even without any labels.
Add the dates of a stay or a family name in the subtitle, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Sand and Paper suit the coast well, while Blueprint, Noir and Classic black & white give a crisper look. You can order a 300 DPI file or a printed poster.
