Līkak is the main town of Bahmai County in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, in the Zagros mountains of south-western Iran. The terrain here is dramatic, with long ridges and deep valleys, and the town occupies an area of lower ground among them. From above, its streets follow the valley, with the built area stretching in the directions the land allows.
The surrounding map is dominated by mountains, and the few roads leading in and out follow valleys and passes. Within the town, a main road runs through the centre, with side streets and residential blocks arranged around it. Farmland and orchards occupy the lower slopes and valley floors near the town.
