Saddle River
The river meanders through the middle of the borough with parkland along parts of its banks, a soft curving line that stands out against the regular blocks on either side.

El mapa
Lodi Map Poster & Print
Lodi is a small borough in southern Bergen County, New Jersey, a short drive west of Manhattan. It covers only a few square miles, and nearly all of it is built up. From above the map is a tight mesh of short residential streets, broken by the winding line of the Saddle River, which flows south through the borough on its way to the Passaic.
Major roads frame the town, with Route 17 and Interstate 80 both passing through or alongside it, and their ramps and interchanges add bold curves to an otherwise fine-grained plan. Lodi also has a place in popular culture: the punk band the Misfits formed here in the late 1970s, and a club on Route 17 stood in for the Bada Bing in The Sopranos.
A Lodi map poster turns all of that into a dense, balanced drawing. The river gives the composition a natural centre line, the highways sweep across its edges, and the residential blocks fill the rest with an even texture. It is a very North Jersey map, and people who know the borough tend to find their own corner of it almost immediately.

Highway interchanges
Route 17 and Interstate 80 bring long ramps and cloverleaf curves into the map, giving the edges of the drawing a strong, sweeping geometry.
Close-knit blocks
Short streets and small lots cover almost every part of the borough, producing a dense, uniform texture typical of older suburbs close to New York City.
