Valley streets
The town follows the lower ground between hills, so its streets form an elongated, irregular shape rather than a grid, closely tied to the natural lines of the valley.

El mapa
Longhe Map Poster & Print
Longhe is a town in the Chongqing municipality, in the hilly country east of the city's main urban area. The land here is folded into ridges and valleys, and settlements tend to follow the lower ground, so from above the town appears as a narrow band of streets fitted between slopes.
Roads wind through the landscape, bending around hills and following streams. Terraced fields, small ponds and patches of woodland fill the surrounding area, and each creates its own small shape on the map, giving the rural land around Longhe a dense, detailed texture.
A Longhe map poster is a portrait of a hill town in its setting, with a modest built-up centre and a much larger surrounding landscape. The strength of the map lies in the contour-shaped roads and the careful subdivision of land, which read beautifully as fine lines.

Terraced land
Fields are cut into the slopes as terraces, a pattern that appears on the map as many small, stepped plots curving along the hillsides around the town.
Winding roads
Roads leading to neighbouring towns and villages bend repeatedly with the terrain, creating long, looping lines that stretch out from the town towards the edges of the map.
