This Mexico is a municipality in Pampanga, in the Central Luzon plain of the Philippines. It shares its name with the country across the Pacific, which is usually the first thing people notice about it. From above, the ground is almost completely flat. A compact town centre sits among farmland, and roads run out across it in long, nearly straight lines.
Fields cover most of the municipality. Channels and drainage ditches cross them, so the map is broken into large open areas with barangay settlements strung along the roads. The town lies between the larger cities of San Fernando and Angeles, and the routes connecting them are the most visible lines on the plan.
A Mexico map poster makes the most of this lowland layout. There are no ridges to bend the streets, so the geometry stays clean. The centre shows as a small cluster of dense streets, and outside it the drawing thins into single roads and waterways. The fields in between turn into large areas of white, which gives the poster a calm, spacious look.
