El mapa
New Brighton Map Poster & Print
New Brighton lies in Ramsey County, just north of Minneapolis and St. Paul, and its map is defined by water. Long Lake stretches through the heart of the city, framed by parkland, while smaller lakes and wetlands scatter across the surrounding neighbourhoods. Curving residential streets wrap around the shorelines instead of running in strict grids.
The city took its name from Brighton, Massachusetts, which was known for its cattle market, and New Brighton began in the nineteenth century as a stockyard and rail town. Today it is mainly residential. Interstate 35W and Interstate 694 run along and through the city, and their broad interchanges form some of the strongest lines on the map.
A New Brighton map poster balances those two forces: the soft outlines of lakes and parks, and the hard geometry of highways. Rice Creek winds through the area on its way toward the Mississippi, adding one more natural line. In print, the lakes become calm, solid shapes that anchor the whole design.

Interstate crossing
Interstate 35W and Interstate 694 meet near the city, and their looping ramps create a bold, almost graphic pattern against the gentle residential streets.
Lakeside neighbourhoods
Streets curve and dead-end around smaller lakes and wetlands, giving the residential areas an organic, irregular texture typical of Minnesota's northern suburbs.

Per què New Brighton
Un mapa amb significat
A New Brighton map suits anyone who has lived near Long Lake or raised a family in these neighbourhoods. The lakes read beautifully from above, and the poster works as a housewarming gift or a keepsake for a move out of state.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with your street or the year you moved in, and set the coordinates to your front door. Five styles are available. Blueprint and Noir make the lakes especially striking, while Paper and Sand feel softer.
