El mapa
Pleven Map Poster & Print
Pleven sits in the rolling country of northern Bulgaria, and from above it reads as a dense core with apartment districts spreading out across the surrounding slopes. Main roads leave the centre in several directions, toward the Danube plain in the north and the Balkan foothills in the south. The streets bend with the terrain, so the plan follows the land instead of a strict grid.
The city is best known for the Siege of Plevna in 1877, a turning point in the Russo-Turkish War that gave Bulgaria its path to independence. That history left memorials, a panorama museum and parkland. Skobelev Park is one example, and on a map it shows as a distinct open patch with paths inside it, set among the tighter blocks around it.
A Pleven map poster shows these layers well. The historic centre is a knot of short streets. The residential quarters form a looser pattern of long blocks, and to the south the Kaylaka park stretches along a narrow valley. In black and white, the contrast between built-up hills and the open green corridor becomes the main shape of the print.

Skobelev Park
A memorial park tied to the 1877 siege. Its looping paths make a clear, self-contained green shape on the western side of the centre.
Hillside districts
Residential quarters climb the low slopes around the core. The streets curve to follow the contours, which gives the outer map a soft, uneven texture.

Per què Pleven
Un mapa amb significat
For many people Pleven is tied to family, school years or a place where history is still present in the streets. A poster of it keeps that connection on the wall in a quiet, graphic form that suits a home or a study.
You can add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example a date or a family name. Then pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9, and printed posters on matte paper are also available.
