San Carlos Park is an unincorporated community in Lee County, in southwest Florida, between Fort Myers and Estero. It was laid out as a planned subdivision, and from above that planning is obvious. Streets follow repeated curves and cul-de-sacs, and long straight drainage canals divide the neighbourhood into regular sections.
The US 41 corridor runs along the western side of the area, lined with commercial lots and parking areas. To the east, the housing gives way to lower-density land typical of inland southwest Florida. Water appears everywhere on the map, but mostly as engineered lines and retention ponds rather than natural shoreline.
