San Isidro is a town in the south of Tenerife, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona. It lies on the gently falling land between the volcanic uplands and the Atlantic. On a map, it reads as a fairly regular grid laid over sloping ground, with streets running along the contours and others dropping straight downhill toward the sea.
The main island motorway runs past the town, forming a strong, continuous line that sets the edge of the built-up area.
