Close urban blocks
Short streets and compact blocks create a dense, even texture. It is typical of Yangon's inner residential townships.

El mapa
Sangyoung Map Poster & Print
Sangyoung lies in the western part of Yangon, between the central districts and the river on the city's western side. The area is densely built up. From above it shows a tight pattern of streets and blocks, with main roads running roughly north to south and short cross streets filling the spaces between them.
As part of inner Yangon, the township is mainly residential and commercial, with markets, schools and apartment blocks close together. Its position gives it easy links both to downtown and to the northern parts of the city. On the map, it is one piece of the larger, continuous urban fabric of Myanmar's biggest city.
A Sangyoung map poster focuses on that close-up city texture, with its dense blocks, main streets and the river edge beyond. At this scale, the print shows the rhythm of everyday Yangon streets rather than landmarks. That makes it a personal choice for anyone who has lived, studied or worked in this part of the city.

North–south arteries
Main roads cross the township lengthwise and connect it to the neighbouring districts. They form the strongest lines in the composition.
Toward the river
To the west, the streets lead toward the waterfront, and the river's edge gives the print a natural boundary.

Per què Sangyoung
Un mapa amb significat
A map of one township says more than a map of the whole city. It shows the exact streets where someone lived or grew up. You can set a personal title, add a subtitle with an address or year, and keep the coordinates line.
The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir works well for dense city blocks. Classic and Paper keep the fine street pattern clean and legible.
