El mapa
Sesimbra Map Poster & Print
Sesimbra is a coastal town in the Setúbal district, on the south-facing coast of the Setúbal Peninsula south of Lisbon. From above, it appears as a compact settlement curving around a sheltered bay, with steep hills rising behind it. Its location protects it from Atlantic winds and has made it a fishing harbour for centuries.
The town's old centre fills the bay with narrow streets running down to the beach, where the seventeenth-century Fortress of Santiago stands on the waterfront. Above the town, on a hill, the Castle of Sesimbra has medieval walls with origins in the Moorish period. To the east lie the Arrábida hills, and to the west the headland of Cape Espichel.
A Sesimbra map poster captures the drama of this setting: the curved bay, the harbour at one end, the old town climbing the slope and the castle on its hill. In black and white, the coastline, cliffs and winding roads into the hills create a composition full of movement and depth.

Per què Sesimbra
Un mapa amb significat
Sesimbra is where many Lisbon families spend their summers and where visitors return for its fish and its beaches. A map of the bay turns those summers into something permanent.
Personalise the title, a subtitle with a holiday year, and the coordinates line, and choose one of five styles. The HD files include six print sizes, or you can order a printed poster with an optional frame.
