El mapa
Tikhvin Map Poster & Print
Tikhvin lies in the east of Leningrad Oblast, on the small Tikhvinka River. The map reveals an old town that grew around a riverside monastery, with streets following the bends of the water and a pond near the centre. To the north and east, newer districts with larger housing blocks extend across flat forested land.
The Tikhvin Assumption Monastery, founded in the sixteenth century, is home to the Tikhvin icon of the Mother of God, one of the most revered icons in Russia. The town is also the birthplace of the composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, whose family house is now a museum.
A Tikhvin map poster shows a place layered over centuries: the monastery enclosure, the curving river, the old streets and the planned districts beyond. The composition is calm and balanced, fitting a town of history and quiet surroundings.

Per què Tikhvin
Un mapa amb significat
Tikhvin draws pilgrims, music lovers and families who have lived there for generations. A map print holds the town's shape in a form that suits both a traditional and a modern interior.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be personalised, in Russian or English. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper gives the old town a gentle, archival feel.
