Blue Nile bank
The river runs directly beside the town, giving the map a strong natural edge and a sweeping curve that contrasts with the regular street pattern.

关于地图
Al Hasaheisa Map Poster & Print
Al Hasaheisa lies on the Blue Nile in Al Jazirah state, between Khartoum and Wad Madani. On a map, the river runs along one side of the town, and the built-up area stretches beside it. Streets form fairly regular blocks near the centre, and the main road and railway linking Khartoum with Wad Madani pass through, giving the town its long north–south orientation.
The town belongs to the region of the Gezira Scheme, one of the largest irrigation projects in Africa, created in the twentieth century to grow cotton and other crops on the plain between the Blue and White Nile. Around Al Hasaheisa, the map is filled with straight canals and rectangular fields, a strong pattern that sits right against the looser curves of the river.
An Al Hasaheisa map poster shows how land and water meet here. The Blue Nile draws a natural line, the canals draw engineered ones, and the town sits between them. In black and white, the precise geometry of the fields frames the denser streets of the town, creating a map that says a lot about how this landscape is worked.
