关于地图
Alenquer Map Poster & Print
Alenquer lies in western Pará, on the northern side of the lower Amazon, not far from Santarém. From above, it is a town at the water's edge. The streets form a modest grid close to the riverbank, and the land around it is threaded with channels, lakes and floodplain that rise and fall with the seasons.
As in much of the Amazon, rivers are the main highways here. Boats connect Alenquer with Santarém and other towns along the river, and the rhythm of the annual flood shapes farming, fishing and daily life. The town is small and not widely documented, and its geography is best described by the map itself.
An Alenquer map poster is a portrait of a town and its water. The compact street grid sits at one edge, while the channels, lakes and river margins take up most of the space around it. In a minimal style, the pattern of water becomes the main design and the town an anchor within it.

Channels and lakes
Winding channels and floodplain lakes surround the town. Their organic curves fill the map and change its character completely from a typical street map.
Water routes
The river links Alenquer with Santarém and the wider Amazon. The broad water surface is as important to the composition as any road.

为什么选 Alenquer
一张有意义的地图
For families from Alenquer, now living in Santarém, Belém or further away, the town is inseparable from the river. A map of its streets and waters keeps a piece of the lower Amazon at home.
You can set the title and subtitle in Portuguese or English, adjust the coordinates, and choose one of five styles. Blueprint emphasises the water especially well. The HD files cost $9 and print sharply in six sizes.
