The confluence
At the northern tip of Alfortville the Marne joins the Seine. The meeting of the two rivers gives the town its pointed outline and is the most recognisable feature on the map.

关于地图
Alfortville Map Poster & Print
Alfortville lies in Val-de-Marne, immediately southeast of Paris, on a strip of land where the Marne flows into the Seine. Water bounds the town on two sides, which gives it an unusually clear outline on the map: a long, tapering shape that ends in a point at the confluence.
Inside those borders the streets are dense and mostly regular, with long roads running roughly north to south between the two rivers and shorter cross streets linking them. Bridges connect Alfortville to Charenton-le-Pont, Ivry-sur-Seine and Maisons-Alfort, and the railway lines on the far bank of the Seine add long straight tracks to the composition.
The town is also known for its large Armenian community, established after the 1920s, which has left a lasting mark on local life. An Alfortville map poster centres on the geography that defines the place: two rivers meeting, a close grid of streets between them and bridges reaching out in every direction.

Streets between rivers
The street grid fills the space between the Seine and the Marne, with long parallel roads running the length of the town and short connecting streets crossing between them.
Bridges on both banks
Bridges over the Seine and the Marne link Alfortville with its neighbours, drawn as short strong crossings that frame the town from both sides.

为什么选 Alfortville
一张有意义的地图
A map of Alfortville speaks to people who have lived between its two rivers, as well as to families whose history in France began in its Armenian community. The shape of the town is its signature.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the rivers and bridges particularly well.
