关于地图
Alice Map Poster & Print
Alice is the seat of Jim Wells County in South Texas, west of Corpus Christi. It grew up as a railroad town in the late nineteenth century and was named after Alice King Kleberg, a daughter of Richard King, founder of the King Ranch. From above, its downtown and older neighbourhoods follow a regular grid aligned with the rail lines that shaped the town.
The surrounding land is flat brush country, long ranching territory and later tied to the oil and gas industry. On the map, the grid gives way at its edges to highways, larger lots and open land. Alice also has a place in music history as an early centre of Tejano recording, a heritage the town continues to celebrate.
An Alice map poster shows a Texas town at its most legible. The rail lines cut through at an angle, the downtown grid lines up alongside them, and the highways stretch out toward Corpus Christi, Kingsville and San Diego. In black and white the pattern is clear and strong, a good fit for a modern interior.

Downtown blocks
Compact blocks around the old commercial centre stand out as the densest part of the map, with wider residential streets extending out in every direction.
Highways across the brush
Highways leave town in long straight lines across the flat South Texas landscape, linking Alice with Corpus Christi and the ranching country around it.
