Laguna de Bay shore
The town meets the lake along an irregular shoreline. The water's edge takes on a fine, ragged texture that contrasts with the open expanse of the lake.

关于地图
Angono Map Poster & Print
Angono lies in the province of Rizal, east of Metro Manila, on the northern shore of Laguna de Bay. From above, the town is a strip of dense streets between the lake and higher ground to the east, where the land climbs toward the hills. The main road along the shore works as a spine, with narrow side streets branching off toward the water and the slopes.
Angono is widely called the Art Capital of the Philippines. Two National Artists lived here, the painter Carlos Botong Francisco and the composer Lucio San Pedro, and the town now has many galleries and studios. In the hills are the Angono Petroglyphs, rock engravings counted among the oldest known artworks in the country. Each November the Higantes Festival fills the streets with giant papier-mâché figures.
An Angono map poster suits a town that thinks in images. The curve of the shoreline, the dense streets of the poblacion and the roads rising into the hills give the composition a natural rhythm. In monochrome the lake becomes a wide, calm space at the bottom of the frame, which balances the busy pattern of streets above it.

Poblacion streets
Tightly packed streets around the old centre and parish church form the core of Angono. Many of the town's studios and galleries are here.
Petroglyph hills
East of the centre the ground rises into wooded hills, home to the ancient rock engravings. There the street network thins into winding roads.

为什么选 Angono
一张有意义的地图
Artists, collectors and families from Angono often want a piece that reflects the town's creative identity. A clean map is a quiet artwork in its own right, and it sits naturally beside paintings and prints from the town's own galleries.
You can set the title and subtitle to anything you like, from Angono, Rizal to a festival date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles and check the free 900 px preview. Then download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster on matte paper.
