关于地图
Asunción Map Poster & Print
Asunción lies on the eastern bank of the Paraguay River, where a wide bay curves into the shore. Founded in 1537, it is one of the oldest cities in South America, and its historic centre still follows a grid that runs down to the water near the presidential palace. From there, the city spreads east and south across gentle hills.
Across the river begins the flat, sparsely populated Gran Chaco, and on the map the contrast between the dense city and the open land to the west is striking. The Costanera, a waterfront avenue built along the bay, traces the edge of the centre, while the Palacio de los López overlooks the river at the corner of the old town.
An Asunción map poster brings together the soft curve of the bay, the orderly grid of the centre and the larger residential districts beyond. It is a city defined by its relationship with the river, and on paper that relationship becomes the clear subject of the design.

Historic grid
The old centre's regular blocks run down to the waterfront around the government buildings, showing the colonial layout of one of the continent's oldest cities.
The Chaco shore
Across the river, the low, open land of the Chaco contrasts sharply with the city, leaving a wide empty space along one side of the map.

为什么选 Asunción
一张有意义的地图
Asunción is a city of deep family roots, and many Paraguayans abroad still think of it as home. A map poster of its bay and streets keeps that sense of place close, whether it hangs in a new house, an office or a student room.
Change the title and subtitle, add a date, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 HD files include six print sizes, while printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
