Mediterranean shoreline
The coast is the strongest line on the poster. A long sweep of beach frames the town on its northern side and sets it against open water.

关于地图
Azla Map Poster & Print
Azla is on the Mediterranean coast of northern Morocco, a short distance east of Tétouan, where the Rif foothills come down almost to the water. From above, the town is a narrow band. The shoreline runs along one side, rising ground along the other, and a coastal road threads between them. Short streets run from the road down toward the beach, which gives the plan a comb-like rhythm.
The land around Azla shapes much of what you see on the map. Valleys cut down from the hills, small watercourses reach the sea, and farmed plots fill the flatter ground. Building gathers where the slope allows it and thins out quickly where it does not. As a result the built area has soft, irregular edges rather than a hard boundary.
An Azla map poster shows this meeting of coast and hill in plain black line work. The shoreline becomes a single curve, the road network a fine web behind it, and the sea a calm field of white or black depending on the style. It suits anyone who knows this stretch of the Tétouan coast from summers spent by the water.

Coast road
A road follows the shore west toward Tétouan and east along the coast. It is the spine from which the local streets branch toward the sea and the hills.
Rif foothills
Behind the town the ground rises into the foothills of the Rif. The street pattern loosens and fades as the slopes get steeper.

为什么选 Azla
一张有意义的地图
For people from Azla, or those who come back every summer, the map is a quiet record of a familiar shoreline. It works well in a hallway or a room with light walls, where the white space of the sea gives the composition room to breathe.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, such as a family name or the year of a first visit. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the $9 HD files in six sizes, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
