关于地图
Bad Bentheim Map Poster & Print
Bad Bentheim lies in the far west of Lower Saxony, just across the border from the Netherlands. The town is dominated by Bentheim Castle, which sits on a sandstone ridge rising above the surrounding flat country. On a map, the old town wraps around the foot of the castle hill, while newer districts spread out over the lower land.
The ridge itself is the source of Bentheim sandstone, which was quarried for centuries and shipped widely, especially to the Netherlands, where it was used in many important buildings. Today the town is also a spa resort with thermal baths, and forest and parkland around the ridge soften the edges of the built-up area.
A Bad Bentheim map poster shows the historic core tightly packed around the castle, streets curving with the slope, and the flat, open landscape of the border region beyond. The railway line and roads toward the Netherlands add long straight lines, framing the compact centre in a clear, readable composition.

Sandstone quarries
The ridge was quarried for the well-known Bentheim sandstone, and traces of that landscape remain in the wooded areas around the town.
Border country
Beyond the town, the flat farmland of the German-Dutch border stretches out, crossed by the railway and roads leading toward the Netherlands.

为什么选 Bad Bentheim
一张有意义的地图
Bad Bentheim is a place of visits and returns: a spa stay, a day at the castle, or a hometown just over the border. The circular old town on its hill makes the map clearly recognisable even without a label.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital files cost $9 and include six sizes, and printed posters with an optional wooden frame are also available.
