Baihecun lies in the southwest of Guangxi, a region of rolling hills, limestone outcrops and river valleys not far from the border with Vietnam. From above, the settlement shows a compact cluster of streets surrounded by fields, with roads following the flatter ground and the lower slopes. The landscape around it breaks into irregular patches of farmland and wooded high ground.
Little detailed information about the town is widely published, so this map focuses on what can be seen from above: the layout of its streets, the roads linking it to neighbouring towns, and the patterns of fields and hills around it.
