Valley streets
The main roads run along the valley floors and the town's streets branch off them, creating a pattern shaped more by terrain than by planning.

关于地图
Baixi Map Poster & Print
Baixi lies in southern Sichuan, in a landscape of hills, river valleys and terraced farmland typical of the southern edge of the Sichuan Basin. On the map the built-up area adapts to the terrain. It gathers on flatter ground and along the water, and roads bend and climb to reach neighbouring villages and towns.
This is not a place of large planned grids. The street pattern grows from older lanes and main roads that follow natural routes through the valleys, with newer blocks added wherever the land allows. The resulting shapes are irregular and organic, and they show a town that has grown in step with its surroundings.
A Baixi map poster shows that close relationship between town and land. Dense clusters of streets sit beside open, pale areas of hills and fields, and winding roads link them like threads. It is a quiet, personal map, made for people who know the place well rather than for visitors passing through.

Winding routes
Outside the centre, roads curve through the hills to reach villages and farmland, adding flowing lines to the edges of the poster.
Open countryside
Farmland and wooded slopes surround the town, leaving generous open space on the map that frames the denser streets at its centre.

为什么选 Baixi
一张有意义的地图
Baixi is the kind of place that rarely appears in print, which makes a map of it all the more personal. It suits anyone who grew up there, has family nearby or wants to remember a particular journey through southern Sichuan.
Set your own title, add a date or a family name in the subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, to suit your space.
