关于地图
Bakal Map Poster & Print
Bakal is a town in Chelyabinsk Oblast on the western slopes of the Southern Urals. Its history is tied to iron ore: the Bakal deposits have been mined for a long time and supplied the region's metallurgical industry. On a map, this shows in the terrain, where the town sits among forested ridges and the mining areas leave large, irregular shapes.
The streets do not follow a single grid. Residential districts are spread over the hillsides and valley floors, and roads wind between them, following the terrain. Rail lines and industrial roads connect the mining sites with the town, while dense forest covers much of the surrounding hills.
A Bakal map poster shows a landscape that has been shaped by both nature and industry. The winding streets follow the relief, and the mining areas add unusual outlines that are rarely seen on city maps. In black and white, the result is serious, structured and very distinctive.

Hillside districts
Neighbourhoods are spread across slopes and valleys rather than on a single plain. Their scattered layout reflects the uneven terrain of the Urals.
Rail and industrial roads
Railway lines and service roads link the mines with the town and the wider region. Their long curves stand out against the forested hills.
