关于地图
Bambous Map Poster & Print
Bambous lies in the Black River district on the western side of Mauritius, on the lowland between the coast and the mountainous interior. It is one of the larger settlements in the district and an administrative centre for it. On a map it appears as a group of residential streets along the main coastal road, with fields around it and hills rising to the east.
The west coast is drier and sunnier than much of the island, and the land around Bambous has long been used for sugar cane. The ground rises from the plain toward the ridges of the interior, and those slopes appear in the wider view as broader, more irregular contour-shaped areas. The coast and its resorts lie a short distance to the west.
A Bambous map poster shows a village between lowland and mountain: the straight run of the main road, small residential streets around it and open farmland stretching toward the hills. In black and white, the simple layout comes across as calm and balanced.

Cane field plain
Sugar cane covers much of the surrounding lowland. On the map this forms a wide, quiet area around the houses.
Western mountain slopes
East of the village, the land rises toward the ridges of the interior. This gives the wider view a sense of depth and a natural boundary.

为什么选 Bambous
一张有意义的地图
A map of Bambous suits Mauritians at home and abroad, and anyone who has spent time on the island's west coast. It shows the everyday village rather than the resort strip.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name in Creole or a date that matters to you. The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
