Bañga Map Poster & Print
Bañga is a municipality in South Cotabato, on the island of Mindanao, and its map is shaped mostly by the land around it. The town centre is a compact cluster of streets set along the main highway that runs through the province, and beyond it the pattern opens into farm roads, irrigation lines and scattered barangays spread across the valley floor.
The surrounding plain is agricultural, with rice and corn among the main crops, and the municipality sits between larger neighbouring towns on the route that links the provincial capital, Koronadal, with points to the west. Like much of South Cotabato, it grew during the twentieth century as settlers arrived from other parts of the Philippines and farmed the fertile valley.
