关于地图
Bangolo Map Poster & Print
Bangolo is a town in the Montagnes district of western Ivory Coast, on the road that links the highland centre of Man with the south. At heart its map is linear: the main route runs straight through, and neighbourhoods spread out on either side in loose, irregular blocks. This is not a planned grid, and the streets bend and branch to suit the land.
Around the town the landscape is rolling and heavily cultivated, with plantations, patches of forest and small villages linked by unpaved tracks. On a black-and-white print these show as fine threads radiating from the town centre. The network shows how much of daily life moves back and forth between the town and the surrounding countryside.
A Bangolo map poster is a quiet way to mark a connection to the west of the country, whether through family roots, work or a long stay. The design leaves out colour and labels, so attention goes to the shape of the town: its central spine and the loose layers of streets that grew up around it.

Organic neighbourhoods
Away from the main road, streets curve and fork without a fixed pattern, forming the irregular, hand-drawn texture typical of towns that grew gradually.
Rural track network
Narrow roads and paths fan out into the farmland and forest of the Montagnes district, connecting the town with the villages nearby.
