关于地图
Barra Map Poster & Print
Barra is a quarter on the eastern side of Naples, once a separate town and now part of the city. From above, it sits in the flat, densely built strip between the Bay of Naples and the lower slopes of Vesuvius, and its map is a mix of older, irregular street patterns, larger modern blocks and several railway lines that run through the area toward the towns further along the coast.
This eastern belt of Naples was historically a place of countryside villas and farmland before industry and housing filled much of it in the twentieth century. Some historic villas survive among the later development, and the proximity of Vesuvius to the southeast gives the whole area a recognisable geographical setting.
A Barra map poster shows a layered piece of Naples: winding older roads, straight rail corridors, dense clusters of housing and the open land that still survives in places. In black and white, that layering becomes a rich, detailed texture, framed by the direction of the sea on one side and the volcano on the other.

Layered street pattern
Older, irregular roads from Barra's time as a separate town sit alongside larger modern blocks, creating a varied texture that reads well at poster scale.
Between bay and volcano
The quarter lies on the flat land between the Bay of Naples and the lower slopes of Vesuvius, a setting that gives the map a clear sense of place.

为什么选 Barra
一张有意义的地图
Barra is home for many Neapolitans, and a map of it speaks to that local loyalty, the specific streets of one quarter rather than the postcard city centre. It makes a personal, grounded piece for anyone with ties to eastern Naples.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the files for $9 in six print sizes, or order a matte print, framed if you like, from partners in more than 30 countries.
