Berkane Map Poster & Print
Berkane lies in north-eastern Morocco, on the plain between the Beni Snassen mountains and the Mediterranean coast. The town is set on flat ground with the range rising just to the south, and its streets are laid out largely in regular blocks. Around it, irrigated orchards and fields extend towards the Moulouya River and the sea.
The area is known across Morocco for its clementines, and a large orange sculpture at the entrance to the town makes the point clearly. Berkane is also home to RS Berkane, a football club that has become one of the country's strongest in recent years. The beaches of Saïdia are a short drive to the north.
A Berkane map poster shows a planned grid on the plain, main roads leading out towards Oujda, Nador and the coast, and the rectangular pattern of orchards all around. In monochrome, the geometry of streets and fields becomes the main subject.

Citrus plain
Orchards and irrigated fields surround the town, especially towards the north. Their field boundaries give the outer parts of the poster a fine, rectangular texture.

South of the town the land rises into the Beni Snassen range. Roads start to curve as they approach the slopes, adding movement to the edge of the design.
