关于地图
Betafo Map Poster & Print
Betafo lies in the central highlands of Madagascar, west of Antsirabe, in a landscape shaped by old volcanoes. From above, the town is a modest cluster of streets and buildings. Around it, rice fields are cut into terraces and fitted into every valley floor. Low rounded hills and old cones rise between the fields, and the roads follow the gentle lines of the land.
The area is known for its volcanic features, above all Lake Tatamarina, a small crater lake close to the town. There are also hot springs nearby. The terraced paddies around Betafo are among the most photographed rural landscapes in the Vakinankaratra region, and the town is often visited as a day trip from Antsirabe.
A Betafo map poster brings out the delicate structure of this farmland. Irregular terraces form fine, curving lines around the town. The crater lake appears as a small clean circle, and a few roads cross the sheet toward Antsirabe. The result is more landscape than street plan, a quiet record of a place shaped equally by people and geology.

Rice terraces
Terraced paddies fill the valleys around Betafo. They form curving, stepped lines that give the poster a fine, layered texture.
Road to Antsirabe
The main road east links Betafo with Antsirabe. It is one of the strongest lines on the sheet and the town's route to the rest of the highlands.

为什么选 Betafo
一张有意义的地图
Travellers who have walked the terraces around Betafo, and Malagasy families from the region, can keep this map as a clear reminder of the highland landscape. Its organic lines make it a softer, more natural piece than a typical city plan.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the date of a journey. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Download the watermark-free HD files for $9 or order a printed poster on matte paper.
