Five valleys
Bludenz is at the junction of five Alpine valleys. On a wider framing, their outlines radiate from the town and give the map a star-like structure.

关于地图
Bludenz Map Poster
Bludenz sits in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg, at a point where several valleys meet: the Walgau, Klostertal, Montafon, Brandnertal and Großes Walsertal all converge nearby. The town occupies the valley floor, with steep, forested slopes rising on both sides. On a map, the built-up area is squeezed into a long, narrow band, while the mountains around it stay nearly empty.
The historic old town, with its arcades and old gate tower, sits at the heart of this band. Newer districts spread along the Ill River and the main roads. The Arlberg railway passes through on its way toward Innsbruck and adds a long, gently curving line. Bludenz is also known for its chocolate factory, where Milka has been produced for many decades.
A Bludenz map poster shows an Alpine town defined by its terrain. It has a dense old centre, a river, a railway and a set of valleys fanning out into the mountains. The composition feels vertical even on a flat print, and the empty slopes give the town's streets a clear, strong frame.

Old town
The compact historic centre, with its arcaded streets and gate tower, forms a tight knot of lanes. It stands out against the more open newer districts around it.
Ill and railway
The Ill River and the Arlberg railway run through the valley floor side by side. Their parallel curves cross the whole composition and connect the town to the rest of Vorarlberg.

为什么选 Bludenz
一张有意义的地图
Bludenz means different things to skiers heading to Montafon, hikers, railway fans and people who live below the peaks. A print of its valley shape suits all of them and works especially well in a mountain cabin or hallway.
Add your title, a date such as a winter trip or a move, and the coordinates. Blueprint and Noir emphasise the valley lines, and Paper offers a softer look. HD files cost $9, and printed posters ship from partners in 30+ countries.
