Lopasnya River
The small river winds through the town and gave it its original name. On the poster, its narrow, winding line is the one soft curve among mostly straight residential streets.

关于地图
Chekhov Map Poster & Print
Chekhov lies south of Moscow, where the railway toward Serpukhov and Kursk crosses the small Lopasnya River. On a map the town is a tidy cluster: a central grid of streets near the station, groups of apartment blocks arranged as neighbourhoods, and houses on smaller plots toward the edges. Past that the forest closes in quickly, so the town's outline comes from woodland, not open fields.
Until 1954 the town was called Lopasnya, after its river. It was renamed in honour of Anton Chekhov, who lived at the nearby Melikhovo estate in the 1890s, treated local villagers as a doctor and wrote The Seagull there. Melikhovo is now a museum, and the writer's name has become the town's identity for visitors and residents alike.
A Chekhov map poster turns this layout into a quiet, balanced drawing: the winding river, the straight railway and the steady rhythm of Soviet-era housing. It suits a place that many people know as a commuter town and some know as a literary destination, and it reads well at any of the larger print sizes.

Railway spine
The line south from Moscow runs straight through Chekhov with the station near the centre, and the street pattern lines up on either side of the tracks.
Forest edge
Woodland surrounds the built-up area, so the map fades into blank space where the streets simply stop. That gives the town a clear, compact outline.

为什么选 Chekhov
一张有意义的地图
For people who commute from here, grew up here or came for Melikhovo, the plan of Chekhov is a small, readable portrait of home. It stays calm on a wall and never competes with the room around it.
Add your own title, a subtitle or a meaningful date, and adjust the coordinates line. Try it in Blueprint or Sand, or stay with Classic black & white. A free 900 px preview lets you check the layout before buying.
