关于地图
Chelles Map Poster & Print
Chelles lies in Seine-et-Marne, east of Paris, on the northern bank of the Marne. The river curves along the southern edge of the town, and to the north the land rises to the wooded Montagne de Chelles. Between them, the street network fills the slope and plain. It is dense near the centre and becomes a pattern of residential streets and houses farther out.
The town's history goes back to the Merovingian period. Queen Balthild founded or refounded an abbey here in the seventh century, and it became an important religious centre. Today Chelles is a commuter town with a busy railway station on the line into Paris, and the tracks cut across the map as a strong, straight line.
A Chelles map poster frames the town between water and hill. The Marne and its riverside paths form the southern border, the railway crosses the middle, and the green heights to the north leave open space. It is a suburb with a real sense of place.

为什么选 Chelles
一张有意义的地图
Chelles is home for many Parisians who wanted the river and some space without leaving the region. A map poster holds the town, the Marne and the hill together in a simple, lasting image.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with your street or the date you moved in. Five styles are offered: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
