关于地图
Cheremkhovo Map Poster & Print
Cheremkhovo lies in Irkutsk Oblast, northwest of Irkutsk, on the Trans-Siberian Railway. From above, the railway is the town's spine: a long, straight line with the town built along it and streets running off in a broadly regular grid. Around the edges the pattern breaks up into industrial land, open ground and the scars of old workings.
The town grew with coal. It is the centre of the Cheremkhovo coal basin, and mining shaped both its economy and its landscape, with open pits and spoil areas visible on the map around the built-up area. Wide Soviet-era blocks sit next to older streets of low houses, which gives the grid a mixed texture.
A Cheremkhovo map poster shows that relationship between railway, town and mining land in clean black lines. The long axis of the tracks, the rectangular blocks and the irregular industrial shapes beyond them make for a composition that is quite different from a river or coastal city.

Coal basin landscape
As the centre of the Cheremkhovo coal basin, the town is surrounded by mining land whose open pits and irregular outlines contrast with the regular street grid.
Mixed street grid
Straight streets of low private houses sit beside larger Soviet-era housing blocks, giving the grid areas of fine detail and areas of broad, open rectangles.

为什么选 Cheremkhovo
一张有意义的地图
Cheremkhovo is a place many people left for larger cities, and a map is a straightforward way to keep it on the wall. The strong railway line gives the poster a clear structure that reads well from across a room.
Add a title in your own words, a subtitle and the coordinates line, then pick from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital files come as 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs in six sizes.
