关于地图
Chesterfield Map Poster & Print
Chesterfield lies in northeast Derbyshire, between the Peak District and the industrial towns of South Yorkshire. On a map, the centre is a compact cluster of old streets around a large market place, with roads radiating outward into the valleys of the Rivers Rother and Hipper and toward the hills to the west.
The town is known for the crooked spire of the Church of St Mary and All Saints, which twists and leans noticeably. The spire is visible from far around the town and has become its symbol. Nearby, the open-air market, one of the largest in England, has been held in Chesterfield for centuries.
George Stephenson, the railway pioneer, spent his last years in Chesterfield and is buried in the town. The Midland Main Line passes the centre, and the station lies just below the spire. A Chesterfield map poster brings together the market place, the old streets, the rail line and the green valleys that surround the town.

The crooked spire
The church with its famously twisted spire stands beside the centre, the town's best-known landmark and a fixed point for anyone reading the map.
River valleys
The Rother and Hipper valleys run through the town, bringing green corridors, parks and gentle curves into the street pattern.

为什么选 Chesterfield
一张有意义的地图
Chesterfield is a place of market days, walks toward the Peak District and a spire everyone recognises. A map of the town suits people who grew up there or who now call it home.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a wedding date or family name, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
