Dense town core
The centre is a tight grid of short streets and small blocks, the darkest part of the map and the natural focal point of the print.

关于地图
Chorfa Map Poster & Print
Chorfa is a town in the Bouira province of Algeria, on the southern side of the Djurdjura range, where the mountains fall towards a broad agricultural valley. The town sits on the lower ground. Its streets are packed around a few main roads, and fields and groves spread out on every side.
From above, the contrast is plain. The centre is a dense block of short streets. Beyond it, the roads straighten and head across open land towards neighbouring towns and the villages higher up the slopes. To the north the pattern thins out as the terrain rises towards the mountains.
A Chorfa map poster keeps that simple arrangement: a small, busy core, a few strong lines leaving it, and wide open space around it. In black and white, the relationship between the town and the valley it farms is easy to see.

Valley roads
The main roads leave the town in long, fairly straight lines across the flat valley, linking Chorfa with the nearby towns of the Bouira region.
Rising ground north
Northward the road pattern loosens and starts to wind, the first sign of the slopes that climb towards the Djurdjura mountains.

为什么选 Chorfa
一张有意义的地图
A map of Chorfa suits anyone who grew up in the town or has family there. It is a modest place, and a clean line drawing presents it honestly: the streets people walk every day and the roads that lead home.
Add your own title and subtitle, such as a family name or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, let the same map suit very different interiors.
