关于地图
Ciputat Map Poster & Print
Ciputat lies just beyond the south-western boundary of Jakarta, in the metropolitan belt that has grown rapidly over the past few decades. On a map it is a fine, dense mesh of kampung lanes and housing estates. A few busy arterial roads cut through it, carrying commuters toward the capital, alongside small rivers running north toward the coast.
The area is closely associated with education, above all the campus of the State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah, one of the country's leading Islamic universities. Scattered among the streets are several situ, small reservoir lakes. One of them, Situ Gintung, is remembered for the dam failure in 2009 that caused a deadly flood.
A Ciputat map poster turns that intricate urban fabric into a surprisingly beautiful pattern. The dense lanes create an almost textile texture, the lakes appear as calm, solid shapes and the main roads give clear direction. It is a portrait of the everyday metropolitan fringe, the kind of place where millions of Indonesians live, study and commute.

Kampung lane network
Narrow alleys and small residential roads fill almost every gap between the main routes, giving the map an intricate, fine-grained texture that rewards close viewing.

为什么选 Ciputat
一张有意义的地图
Ciputat is home to many students, commuters and families who have spent key years of their lives here. For alumni of the local universities in particular, a map of the neighbourhood is a meaningful keepsake, detailed enough to find the exact street of a boarding house.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a name, a faculty or a graduation year, and edit the coordinates line if you like. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the $9 HD files or order a matte printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
