关于地图
Coimbatore Map Poster & Print
Coimbatore sits in western Tamil Nadu at the foot of the Western Ghats, close to the Palakkad Gap, the low pass that connects the region with Kerala. Its textile mills earned it the nickname Manchester of South India, and the city still carries a strong industrial and engineering identity. On a map the hills rise along the western edge while the city spreads east across the plain.
The Noyyal River crosses the southern part of the city, and a chain of historic tanks, reservoirs built to capture its water, forms a string of lakes including Ukkadam and Singanallur. These appear as clear open shapes within the street network, and several have been redeveloped with lakeside walks in recent years.
Major roads radiate from the centre toward Mettupalayam and the Nilgiris, toward Tiruppur, Pollachi and Palakkad, and the city has grown outward along each of them. A Coimbatore map poster shows that star-shaped growth, the lakes along the Noyyal and the first folds of the Ghats in a single, balanced composition.

Radiating highways
Roads fan out toward the Nilgiris, Kerala and neighbouring towns, pulling neighbourhoods, colleges and industrial areas into long arms across the plain.
Western Ghats edge
To the west the plain gives way to forested hills, where the street network thins out and the map fades into open terrain.

为什么选 Coimbatore
一张有意义的地图
Coimbatore has a large community of students, engineers and families who have moved elsewhere in India or abroad. A map of the city is a practical kind of memory: the lakes, the main roads and the old neighbourhoods, all recognisable at a glance.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a house, a college or a date, then choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The digital files cost $9 and include every print size without a watermark.
