Central grid
The colonial centre follows a regular pattern of blocks around Jardín Libertad. It forms a clear, orderly core among the looser streets of later districts.

关于地图
Colima Map Poster & Print
Colima is the capital of the small Mexican state of the same name, in a valley near the Pacific coast. The city has grown together with its neighbour, Villa de Álvarez, and the map shows one continuous urban area. At its centre is a regular colonial grid, with later neighbourhoods spreading outwards. Small rivers cross the city from north to south.
The Volcán de Colima, one of the most active volcanoes in Mexico, rises to the north and can be seen from much of the city. In the centre, the Jardín Libertad square sits beside the cathedral and the government palace. Colima is also known for its pre-Hispanic ceramics, especially the clay dog figures found in the region's shaft tombs.
A Colima map poster shows the city in its setting: the tidy grid of the centre, the growth towards the volcano and the tree-lined river corridors. It suits people from Colima and Villa de Álvarez, and those who remember the city's slower pace and warm afternoons.

River corridors

Volcanic setting
The city lies on ground that slopes up towards the Volcán de Colima, and its northern districts climb gently in the direction of the mountain.

为什么选 Colima
一张有意义的地图
People return to Colima for family, for its calm streets or for the view of the volcano. A map keeps that place close and shows the familiar centre and neighbourhoods in a quiet, graphic form.
Add your own title and subtitle, such as a name or a date, and personalise the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and buy the HD files for $9 or a printed poster on matte paper.
