关于地图
Collado-Villalba Map Poster & Print
Collado-Villalba lies northwest of Madrid, where the plain starts to rise toward the Sierra de Guadarrama. From above, the town is shaped by its transport lines. The A-6 motorway runs past on its way to the mountain passes, and railway tracks cross the town and split toward Segovia and Ávila.
The town grew around this junction. Its older core sits between the tracks, and newer housing spreads outward in curving residential streets. Toward the sierra the grid loosens into scrub, granite outcrops and scattered estates, and the contour of the land becomes more visible in the road layout.
A Collado-Villalba map poster shows a place defined by movement: straight infrastructure lines cutting through a town that becomes softer and more irregular at its edges. The mountains are not drawn, but you can sense them in the way the streets bend and thin out to the north.

A-6 corridor
The motorway to the northwest runs past the town as a broad, confident line. It is the main route from Madrid toward the Guadarrama passes.
Foothill edges
On the mountain side, dense streets give way to scattered roads and open ground. This hints at the sierra rising just beyond the frame.
