关于地图
Colmar Map Poster & Print
Colmar lies on the Alsatian plain between the Rhine and the Vosges mountains. On the map, the historic centre is a compact, irregular knot of narrow streets, surrounded by a ring of wider boulevards where the town walls once stood. Beyond that, later districts spread out in a looser pattern, and to the west the land begins to rise toward the vineyards.
The Lauch river and its channels run through the southern part of the old town. The district known as Petite Venise follows the water, with half-timbered houses lining the banks. Colmar is also home to the Unterlinden Museum, which holds the Isenheim Altarpiece, and it was the birthplace of Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, the sculptor of the Statue of Liberty.
A Colmar map poster captures the contrast between the dense medieval centre and the more open town around it, with the waterways of Petite Venise adding soft, curving lines. It suits anyone who has walked those streets, whether on a wine-route trip, during a Christmas market visit or as part of everyday life in Alsace.

Petite Venise
Channels of the Lauch wind through the southern edge of the old town. They add delicate water lines beside the closely built streets.
Boulevard ring
Wider roads follow the line of the former fortifications around the centre. They make a clear frame between the old town and later districts.

为什么选 Colmar
一张有意义的地图
Colmar is one of the places people remember in detail, from the canals to the half-timbered houses and the wine villages nearby. A map of the old town brings those memories into a quieter, more lasting form.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, for example the date of a visit or a wedding in Alsace. Choose from five styles; Paper and Sand suit the historic centre well. Order HD files for $9 or a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
