Curving streets
Instead of a grid, many streets bend, loop and end in cul-de-sacs. This gives the map an organic, flowing texture typical of mid-century suburban planning.

关于地图
Colonia Map Poster & Print
Colonia is a residential community in Woodbridge Township, Middlesex County, in central New Jersey. It is not a separate municipality but one of the township's named neighbourhoods. From above it reads as classic postwar suburbia: curving streets, cul-de-sacs and quiet loops lined with single-family homes among mature trees.
The Garden State Parkway runs through the area as a broad line whose interchange ramps divide the street pattern. A few main roads carry traffic between neighbourhoods and toward nearby Rahway, Clark and the rest of Woodbridge. Between these roads, the residential streets form a soft, winding texture, quite unlike the rigid grids of older cities.
Parks, school grounds and patches of woodland appear as open spaces within that pattern. A Colonia map poster captures a place built around home life. The map is mostly a record of the streets people walked to school, drove along each morning and came back to in the evening.

Garden State Parkway
The Parkway cuts a wide, confident line through the area. Its ramps and overpasses stand out clearly against the finer residential streets around it.
Green pockets
Parks, school fields and wooded areas break up the housing. They appear as calm open shapes that give the composition space to breathe.

为什么选 Colonia
一张有意义的地图
A Colonia map makes sense for anyone who grew up on these streets or bought a first house here. The curving layout is surprisingly graphic. It makes a thoughtful housewarming gift, or a reminder of home for someone who has moved out of state.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with your street or the year you moved in. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download covers six print sizes, including 18×24″ and 24×36″.
