关于地图
Crest Hill Map Poster & Print
Crest Hill is a city in Will County, Illinois, bordered by Joliet to the south and Lockport to the east. Incorporated in the mid-twentieth century, it developed largely as a residential community, and the map shows it: long straight roads on the old survey lines frame blocks of curving subdivision streets, loops and cul-de-sacs.
The Des Plaines River and the historic Illinois and Michigan Canal run through the valley to the east, beyond neighbouring Lockport. Crest Hill sits on the flatter ground above, where the Midwest's survey grid is plain to see. Parks and patches of open land break up the pattern here and there.
A Crest Hill map poster is a portrait of a Midwestern suburb: disciplined at the scale of the arterial roads, playful at the scale of the neighbourhood. It works well for people who grew up here or bought a first house here, and for anyone who likes the contrast between straight lines and looping streets.

Subdivision loops
Inside that frame, neighbourhood streets curve, loop and end in cul-de-sacs, the kind of pattern typical of postwar American suburbs.
Edge with Joliet
To the south, Crest Hill's streets run straight into Joliet's. The map shows one continuous urban fabric, with no clear line where the city ends.

为什么选 Crest Hill
一张有意义的地图
A home is often the first thing people want to see on a map, and Crest Hill is a place of homes. A poster of its streets marks a move, a family chapter or a childhood neighbourhood, with the familiar route home picked out among the loops.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle with a street name or the date you got your keys, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from five styles and download the HD files for $9, or order a matte print from a partner close to you.
