Crévoux Map Poster & Print
Crévoux sits in a side valley above Embrun in the Hautes-Alpes, reached by a winding road up from the Durance. On a map the village is a modest cluster of houses on the valley slope. A few hamlets are strung along the stream, and a large area of forest and mountain rises above.
It is a small, family-oriented ski resort with a few lifts on slopes of larch forest and open ground. Beyond the village, a high track climbs toward the Col du Parpaillon and passes through an old tunnel into the Ubaye valley. It is one of the more unusual routes in the southern Alps.
A Crévoux map poster shows a valley shaped by water. The stream gathers small torrents from all sides, the road bends up beside it, and the village sits wherever the ground allows. Forest and open slopes fill much of the frame, which gives the map a quiet, spacious feel typical of the southern French Alps.

The houses gather on the slope in a small, irregular pattern. A few outlying hamlets form their own tiny clusters along the stream.
Parpaillon track
Above the village, a high track heads toward the Col du Parpaillon and fades into the mountains. It is one of the few routes out of the valley.
