关于地图
Dafengdong Map Poster & Print
Dafengdong is a small town in Guizhou province in south-west China, in a region known for karst landscapes. On a map, the area looks crowded with low, rounded limestone hills. Roads cannot run straight here. They wind along valley floors and between slopes, and the town's buildings gather on the flatter ground where a few routes meet.
Around the settlement, farmland follows the terrain, with terraced fields on the lower slopes and scattered villages linked by narrow lanes. Streams run through the valleys and sometimes disappear underground, as they often do in karst country. The overall pattern is irregular and closely tied to the land, quite unlike the planned grids of China's larger cities.
A Dafengdong map poster is a portrait of a small place shaped by its hills. The town is a compact cluster, the roads are thin curving lines, and the hills show as open spaces between them. For anyone with roots here, it is an unusually personal piece of Guizhou.

为什么选 Dafengdong
一张有意义的地图
Many people from rural Guizhou now live and work in distant cities, and a map of home keeps a connection to a specific valley. It also makes a thoughtful gift for family members or for someone who has travelled through the karst country.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, in Chinese or English. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
