关于地图
Dapeng Map Poster & Print
Dapeng is a town in northern Jiangsu, located in the Xuzhou area close to the borders with Shandong and Anhui. The landscape here is part of the wide North China Plain, flat and heavily cultivated, and from above the town appears as a rectangular patch of streets set within a tidy grid of fields.
The flatness shapes everything. Main roads run straight for long distances, drainage channels divide the farmland into strips, and newer housing compounds sit in orderly rows. The older part of the town is somewhat denser and more irregular, but even there the overall orientation follows the surrounding field lines.
A Dapeng map poster makes the most of this geometry. With few curves to interrupt it, the design becomes a balanced arrangement of lines and blocks. It is a subtle, understated piece, well suited to anyone with a personal link to this part of Jiangsu.

Field and channel grid
Irrigation and drainage channels divide the surrounding farmland into long rectangles, continuing the urban geometry into the countryside.
Compact core
A denser, older centre contrasts with the evenly spaced newer compounds, adding variation in texture within an otherwise orderly map.
