关于地图
Dedham Map Poster & Print
Dedham, the county seat of Norfolk County, is one of the oldest towns in Massachusetts. It was settled in the 1630s. On the map the Charles River is the most noticeable feature. It winds through the town in wide loops, and its marshy meadows leave long stretches free of streets. Dedham Square, the historic centre, sits near a bend of the river.
The town is also known for Mother Brook, a channel dug in 1639 to carry water from the Charles to the Neponset. It is often described as the first man-made canal in North America. Nearby stands the Fairbanks House, generally considered the oldest surviving timber-frame house in North America. The Norfolk County Courthouse in the square hosted the Sacco and Vanzetti trial.
A Dedham map poster brings those layers together: the looping river, the old road pattern around the square, and the large modern corridors of Route 1 and Interstate 95 on the edges. In black and white, the open river meadows are just as eye-catching as the streets, which makes this one of the more balanced suburban maps near Boston.

Mother Brook
This narrow colonial-era channel links the Charles to the Neponset. It appears as a thin line of water crossing the east side of town.
Dedham Square
The old civic centre, with the county courthouse, sits where several historic roads meet. It forms a compact node near the river.

为什么选 Dedham
一张有意义的地图
Dedham appeals to people with a feeling for early New England: its canal, its old houses and its long civic history all show in the map. It is also a practical choice for anyone who simply lives there and likes the river.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a family name or a date, and choose from five styles. Blueprint emphasises the water and Paper gives it the look of an old town survey.
