关于地图
Deventer Map Poster & Print
Deventer is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, set on the east bank of the IJssel in Overijssel. In the Middle Ages it was a prosperous Hanseatic trading town, and its historic centre is still largely intact. On the map, the old town forms a dense, rounded shape pressed against the river, with open floodplain on the far bank.
Inside the centre, narrow streets wind between the Brink, the main square, and the Bergkwartier, a hilly quarter around the Bergkerk. The Lebuinuskerk rises near the river. Deventer is also known for its spiced cake, Deventer koek, and for a Dickens festival in December, when the old streets fill with costumed characters.
A Deventer map poster shows the medieval core as a tight knot of streets, with bridges crossing the IJssel and newer districts spreading east in looser patterns. In black and white, the broad river and its green banks set off the dense old town. It is one of the clearest historic plans in the country.

Medieval centre
Narrow, winding streets around the Brink and the Bergkwartier form a dense, rounded core. It stands out clearly from the more regular districts around it.
River bridges
Road and rail bridges cross the IJssel and connect the city to the far bank. They form bold, straight lines across the water.

为什么选 Deventer
一张有意义的地图
Deventer draws people back: former students, families who have lived here for generations, and visitors who came for the Dickens festival and stayed in their memory. A map of the old town and the river suits a study, a living room or a gift for someone who moved away.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates, in Dutch or with a date that matters. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It comes as a $9 HD file set in six sizes or a printed poster shipped from partners in over 30 countries.
