Heart River meanders
The river curls through town in wide, irregular loops and breaks up the straight blocks with a soft, natural line that is easy to trace on the poster.

关于地图
Dickinson Map Poster & Print
Dickinson is the main town of southwestern North Dakota, set on rolling grassland where the plains begin to break toward the badlands. Its streets follow a straightforward grid laid out beside the railroad. Interstate 94 runs along the town's edge, linking it east to Bismarck and west toward Montana.
The Heart River winds through the town in loose, meandering bends, the one curved line in an otherwise rectilinear plan. Dickinson State University occupies a campus near the centre. The town works as a gateway to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, whose badlands begin a short drive west near Medora.
A Dickinson map poster sets the tidy prairie grid against the river's looping course. Newer subdivisions and industrial areas on the outskirts show how the town grew with the regional energy boom. Section-line roads extend into the surrounding ranch country, and together they give the print a strong, open geometry.

Rail and interstate
The railroad line and Interstate 94 frame the town as long parallel corridors, the transport routes that shaped where Dickinson grew.
University campus
Dickinson State University adds a cluster of larger buildings and open lawns within the grid, a distinct pocket of space near the heart of town.

为什么选 Dickinson
一张有意义的地图
Dickinson means ranch work, oil field years, college days or simply home on the high plains. A map of it has a sober, honest look that suits an office, a cabin or the wall of someone who moved away.
You can set your own title and subtitle, add a date or exact coordinates, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The files come in six print sizes, or you can order a printed poster.
