关于地图
Dungu Map Poster & Print
This Dungu lies in Mai-Ndombe Province, in the western part of the Congo Basin. It is not the better-known town of the same name in the north-east. The land here is low, well watered and heavily forested, with rivers and marshes shaping where people can build and travel. On a map, the settlement appears as a cluster of lanes and paths in a mostly green landscape.
Mapping in this part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo is thinner than in most places, and the print reflects that honestly. It shows what is recorded: the main tracks, the watercourses, the edges of settlement and the open land between them. The result is a spare, open composition, with the curves of streams carrying much of the design.
A Dungu map poster is best suited to people who know this particular place: families who come from the area, or aid, health and development workers who have spent time there. It is a quiet way to put a small, remote town on the wall with the same attention usually given to famous cities.

Rivers and streams
Watercourses curve through the surrounding land. They are the strongest natural lines on the print and shape where the paths can go.
Tracks and lanes
A small network of paths and tracks links the settlement to the land around it. Their simple lines give the map its human scale.

为什么选 Dungu
一张有意义的地图
For someone from Mai-Ndombe living far away, or someone whose work took them there, this map holds a place that rarely appears in print. Adding the coordinates line makes clear which Dungu is meant.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be personalised in any language. The print comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Classic keeps the few lines crisp, and Paper softens the wide empty ground.
